Child Support, Race, and The MAGA Mind Virus
Like it or not, and believe me I hate it, Donald Trump is everywhere. I am making a reasonable effort to minimize the Trump in my media diet because I am positive that it is worse for my blood pressure than those Chicago-style hot dogs I love so much. But despite my best efforts, it is impossible to completely ignore this guy. He has a rare ability to inject his putrid spirit into issues and individuals that are so far removed from him in time, space and circumstance that he should be a complete nonfactor.
Yet, there he always is. He has a way of showing up and fucking up where he is neither needed nor wanted, and stealing the whole show. We should remember that this fool has very recently screamed to the universe, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” An outburst like that would be troubling for a nineteen year old girl, but for an eighty year old man who holds the nuclear codes, it is a sign of a different kind of neurotoxin at work.
So I do my best to stay back a safe distance, but his toxin really does spread like a virus. His energy is so toxic that once injected the host is often destroyed outright or damaged permanently. Such is the case of single mothers all over America who receive court ordered child support payments. What in the hell does that have to do with Donald Trump? In real life, nothing. And not just because he is a billionaire president…
